Why BAN without knowing the situation?

I had been recently banned for leaving a 5v5 rift game. All of the players on my team were my friends in real life and i told them that my computer was going to overheat and turn off so we tried to push and end as fast as possible but as the nexus was getting damage dealt upon, my computer turns off. I was then banned for several days when it was obviously not my fault and we still won the game. I know i was not reported by my teammates, but why ban someone when you do not know the situation. This is ridiculous.

Bans for leaving don't happen after one or two games. I've left games for good reasons before and am still unpunished because I don't make a habit of it. If I make a mistake and don't have the time that's my fault, just as it's my fault if I keep playing when I know I have a bad connection or faulty hardware.

It is your fault if you keep playing when you know your hardware isn't up to running the game. Fix your computer, then play.

1: Lol computer overheated ? 2: "but why ban someone when you do not know the situation" ~ Exactly so how do they know they were your friends etc. 3: Get a new pc if you know its going to overheat in game 4: You prob afk more than 1 game to get a "Ban"

I don't believe you were banned for leaving one game. Check your inbox or spam folder.

Better question.

Why play a game when you know your computer is going to overheat? Why even take the risk?
