let me make this perfectly clear... if there is a completely different link from leagueoflegends.com then there is absolutely NO guarantee its been approved by Riot. and Also its safe to goto the website without the /4sdfjsdf8 (just a demonstration not an actual code) at the end .. considering the "rewards" in question are brand new skins that riot has just released.. they would NEVER give away free skins like that

It's a scam. There have been multiple people who have figured that this is just a grab for attention and money, as this is not endorsed by Riot as you can notice by the missing account buttons in the top right corner. All the other buttons on the headers are viable links that lead to websites that are run by Riot Games. Not to mention, I also tried this out with a couple of my friends, but it is a static counter that will forever remain at one.

TLDR: Scam, and a waste of time.
