Is it possible to skip ranks when you're in series?
My friend is telling me that he skipped silver IV and went to Silver III when he was in his series. I want to know if it is possible to skip ranks when you're in your series

Only if your MMR is high enough then it will cause you to skip.
Yea, I was in promos to get to silver 2 and when I won, I got bumped to silver 1 instead. I also got into promos again, lost the first game and dropped to silver 3? What kind of bug is that lol?
Yes. I went from gold 4 to gold 2 yesterday.
