I think the leaver buster system is pretty stupid, I was playing with a friend who left 1 game and he got a 20 min leaver buster. We waited for the entire leaver buster, and then decided we don't like the roles we had and canceled the queue(we didn't go into a champ select) . We had to wait another 20 mins. This makes no sense because if you wait the leaver buster fully, then you shouldn't have it anymore.
Inclined to agree, they did seem to add a minor tweak recently that if you miss your afk check and requeue within a certain period of time you won't have to restart the delay.
They need to fix this, ill join a ranked game and in champ select somehow my client is bugged and sometimes WILL NOT let me ban, or lock in my champ. I spam the ban button or lock in and it just wont let me, then it counts as a dodge and i end up with either a 5 min leaver buster or 30 minute leaver buster, its not my fault that riots client is buggy and doesnt let me ban a champ or lock in my pick, so i end up with leaver buster, wait times to queue, and also lose LP i think its pretty bogus and riot needs to do something about this, im stuck in bronze because of this because of all the "dodges" i end up with because of this issue and i cant play as many games daily in order to grind through divisions.
