Gifts when you're account it's banned(not permanently)

A friend of mine got banned for 14 days.That's not the main purpose of this.He waited the entire month for a skin to come to sale.Then,cause it's banned,he can't buy it or get it as a gift.I don't feel like someone has something to gain from this.In my opinon,if you're account it's not banned permanently,you should be able to recive gift and reedem them when your account gets unbanned.I want to know what you guys think about this.Leave your thoughts/ideas in the commentary section.
