Solo queue decay in preseason

My client said that I have 1 day left to play ranked before I start to decay. I am currently Diamond V but since solo queue is disabled I can't play solo queue to stop the decay. Now I already got my rewards but I just found it funny that the decay message still happens even though the season ended. Also I am curious if the decay will happen and if it will affect the ranked soft reset.
