PSA: Malzahar's ult doesn't work if he is dead.

I'm so sick of people telling me to just ult someone. First I have to get to that person so if There surrounded by 3 tank tanks and a Soraka it's probably not a good idea . Second if i die mid channel then the target is no longer suppressed. So telling me it does matter if I die doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Third and most importantly I can do more damage with my other abilities so don't rage at me if I don't immediately ulti someone once I see them.

So next time you see a Malazhar in game don't assume he's just an Ult bot there is a lot that goes in to his game play. Please and thank you.

You can still ult the tank, malzahar's a DPS champion though so putting down some of that on them with a item 3151 is a good idea. Just a question though, shouldn't you try and focus down Soraka, since she's going to be healing a bunch of people?

A lot of your damage is from your voidlings, and your ult will stop the target from moving to allow the voidlings to build up to 3.

His job in a teamfight is to walk in and ult someone. That's why he has his passive, to protect him so he can get close to someone.
