So I log into league today to find that the lovely Riot Games has gifted me a summoner icon http://puu.sh/ooPVR/6f75f38e6c.png
Of course I'm not opposed to this, but I'm just confused as to why it happened in the first place. Did this happen to anyone else? Or can somebody explain why this happened to me and not my friends?

Looks like it was from the Draven event. Did you get a legendary skin during the week of April 1?
If you gifted someone during a certain time frame around the Draven party on april 1st ( I think from april 1st -april 11th) you get a draven minion summoner icon and if you received a legendary or greater skin or gifted a legendary or greater skin, you got a golden draven icon. They should be giving them out today.
Its from either getting gifted or buying a legendary (1820rp) or higher skin during the Dravens spinning axes event :) , i have it aswell #dunkmasterdarius
