I recently finished a game with a very rude person and so when we got to the End Game screen I reported him for 'Negative Attitude.' Seconds later he commented "haha, she reported me!" How did he know? I've had this happen a couple times when I've reported rude players.
It's notable that the warnings that are sometimes shown in post-game about reports are not related to reports that may have been issued that game.
The system waits some number of hours/games after it triggers a warning before actually showing it. That's done specifically to obfuscate who may have actually given the triggering reports.
Still, sometimes "guessing" like that works. But that's all it is. I wouldn't pay attention to it.
