Why are ranked queues disabled 12 hours before scheduled maintenance?
If updates are going to happen 11 hours and 49 minutes from now, why would the queues be disabled now?
Today is the 14th.

Maybe to set up the architecture required to make the changes.
I wondered the same thing
It does seem a bit excessive to prevent only one type of game type for a full 24 hours.. I can understand a few hours.
Because you are mistaken. The patch is in 12 hours, not 24. 03:00 PST is 3am PST. As for why disabled now? That i do not know. Possibly a bug with ranked queues, or tweaking the match making system in flex queue to make up for the fact that it's basically a hard-reset on MMR to where bronze/silver/gold players are getting matched with/against high elo players (D1,masters,challengers).
Good call, it is 12 hours, not 24.

Could be that flex queue fix but i have a itch that it might be something to do with open beta since it was promised on this patch and usually when maintanence happens, it would be the next patch release but theres no info about 6.23 happening yet. [slayer-jinx-wink]
