IF this isn't the right place to post let me know. Otherwise Here is the scoop. I've been going back and forth with Riot support because I never received end of season rewards. They got back to me after some time and said that I was disqualified from end of season rewards because I had used an MMR boosting program or something of the like. This puzzled me greatly because I had no idea that this was even a thing, let alone partook in such shenanigans. So I sent them an e-mail back telling them there must be some mistake and asked them to show me what kind of evidence they had. The basically told me that the case in clear-cut and I definitely MMR boosted and that they cannot show me any evidence they have of me doing this, as well as, they cannot show me what I can do to disprove it. I just have to give some sort of blanket statement and hope that it clears the case. How can something be clear cut if it never happened in the first place? So not only do I not get end of season rewards my account is about to get suspended and I am just wondering what I can do to fix this silly situation.

The only thing I can think of is that I duo queued most of my ranked matches with someone that was almost exactly one tier ahead of me. He was Gold 2 when I was Silver 2 and we grinded most of our matches together, he made it to Plat and I ended up making it to Gold V. Other than that sometimes I play league when I get home from the bar and that of course does not result in me playing at my best... but seriously have no idea how else to combat this. Thoughts?

For those wondering I made it to Gold V this season. Summoner name PoundiusPussius.

EDIT: Thanks for people actually hearing me out. I just e-mailed them back again with any possible insight as to how this could happen. Let's hope justice prevails.

Nothing we can do to help you. Most players, like me, will believe Riot on this one. They have no reason to get rid of a player without solid evidence. They don't reveal what that evidence is to prevent boosters circumventing it. If you had your account boosted, there's no point in continuing to mail support.

Dunno, looked at your lolking and it all appears normal...clear cut normally means a bigger win loss disparity. Unless it's that your account was logged into at more than one location for play.

My buddy had the exact same thing happen to him. If you play on a different IP address even for one game, they automatically convict you of MMR Boosting. They are also just like Microsoft support as they refuse to help anyone who was misunderstood and don't care about anyone. My buddy spent HUNDREDS of dollars on League of Legends, yet one day he went to a friends house and duo queued with him in ranked, so he lost all his previous season rewards (he's been playing since end of S1) and lost his claim to any and all season rewards for S5. Its pretty unfair as when he tried to clear things up and explain what had happened, they ignored him.

They should provide evidence of his guilt, then allow the defendant to show evidence of his innocence. It shouldn't be "looks like he did 'this' so lets punish him.... oh and ignore anything he says."

I never had my account boosted. Riot is just expecting me to take this on the chin when I never did anything wrong. The fact that they wont tell me what evidence they have or what I can do to disprove this is also doubly irritating. The only possible explanation was when my duo partner was high gold and I duo'd with him, there were some plat players in our games. I was getting +30 LP per win and it was allowing me to climb quickly. That shouldn't count against me though because you are allowed to duo queue with a player that is a tier above you. Other than that I am clueless and speechless that their system is so fool proof and yet I have done nothing wrong to deserve this.

The only thing that I know about the system they use to detect this is primarily based on streaks. A lot of people who claim to have gotten banned for elo boosting and then claim they didn't elo boost, seem to have massive win and loss streaks in their match history.

The only thing I can see through your match history is are these massive loss streaks that turn into wins and the like frequently. My assumption is this is what the system targets. The huge flaw with this system, assuming I've pegged it correctly, is that it just so happens people will stop playing ranked, play normals, get better, and go into ranked games and start winning as they're now better players than they were.

It doesn't look to me like you were Elo boosted at all, so I wish you the best of luck in attempting to get this remedied.
