So I've always wondered, and now I know. THIS is where they get their champion art.

Um, no. There are a ton of apps that steal pics from League and use them as advertisement. Most of these can be found on fb ads especially. Showing pics of the victory sign and you can clearly see SR and champs in the background, etc.
So u have it backwards. League is being copied.

lol yeah... seriously though the only thing that surprises me about this is that people really think they can get away with this. Even if Riot literally does nothing about it; how do the people making these apps think using art from what is one of, if not the most popular game on the planet going to just slip quietly by?
I'm not saying it's right or OK no matter who they're stealing art from, but it baffles me they wouldn't try taking something a little less recognizable. Some might say recognizable is the point but if when it's recognized, you're obviously revealed to be a thief then you've just shot yourself in the foot.
