Ranked Restricted for no reason

While I'm the first to admit I'm often sort of a jerk, I'm trying to reform my behavior. After I was ranked restricted and had to work my way back from normals today, I finally won enough normals and made it back into ranked. However, in the last game, I played Darius top against a Teemo, and won the lane so hard he raged afterward, telling me to kill myself, that my parents should be ashamed of me, etc. He then reported me for Verbal Abuse - despite my chat having been restricted, and thus unable to communicate with him in chat during the game. Apparently just this report was enough to put me back into ranked restricted, immediately after I won my privileges back.

This seems like a gross misuse of the report function, and especially frustrating considering I was doing nothing wrong. Is there any way I can get my ranked privileges back? I'm assuming this game was the reason I lost them again, because I wasn't reported for negative behavior in any of the other games I was playing. Any way to get some help on this?
