Can't we do a better job of dealing with leavers?
I just played a game where there was an AFK entire game. Guy didn't make one play, stayed in base entire time. Why should I lose LP for this?

12tales1 votesBecause somewhere down the line, somebody on the other team will AFK and you'll win LP that you shouldn't have.
It's kinda missing the point of a rating system to draw conclusions - or assume that conclusions should be drawn - from a single game. Elo attempts to reflect your skill as a function of every single game you ever play.
