Dawnbringer border not showing up?

I bought the Dawnrbinger riven icon and border and the border itself doesn't show up, is it only with the riven skin? or is there a way to change borders?

How is it that so many players don't understand how the borders work? We already did this with the project skins.

There are borders for other things as well, events and such, some are like project while others are for everything so that's what i was wondering. Do you know if its permanent tho or just for the event?

Far as I know, these are permanent border for the order/chaos skins.

I didn't know that, I get that it might be common knowledge to some, but it's no where in the description. I'm not saying it's misleading, but it's definitely not being totally forefront.

It worked for me with the projects skins. I got the Yasuo border in my loot and when I crafted it I got the skin and the border.

Same here. Thats 2 Orbs of Order I could have spent that on. would be good if they allowed refunds on the odd occasion like this

Well I'm dumb af... Spent all this time playing to get the Yas border... finally saw what it looked like, said 'screw it' ill just buy the dawn bringer border because it looks better, and now I can't even use it... Talk about the fine print, well played Riot.
