Wondering about champion price drops:

Ok, so with the release of Azir Ahri's price should be dropping to 4800 ip. I was wondering if one champion dropping to 4800 effects any others so, for example, would a champion that currently costs 4800 ip go down to 3150? Does this ever happen? If so when? Thank you, I hope this isn't too nooby a question.
