I have a legit question and this isn't meant to sound like a righteous or pretentious ass. Why are there only 2 African American Champs in the entire League Champ Roster?(Lucian and Ekko) You would think there would be a little more diversity amongst the roster but if you look hard, Champs you would think to be black really aren't. like Taliyah and Karma for example. I'm just outright curious because it just struck me as odd.
Well, in the world of Runeterra, neither Africa nor America exist, so there are technically no African American Champions. It would actually be more correct to call them Black.
The reason black people exist in our world is because living close to the equator necessitates a darker skin to survive better. Maybe Runeterra doesn't have many people living in equator-like areas? In that case it would make sense that not many Champions would come from these areas.
Please don't force your standards onto League.
I would love more diversify in the game. :)
There is no such thing as African American in the world or League of Legends. There is no Africa or American there, so if they're African American, does that mean they don't exist?
Karma black? I would think she would be Indian or something around that area.
There are more races than just black and white (and purple 
), the game has a pretty good diversity as far as coverage go. You don't make a character a different race because you need one... the character either is or isnt, its all about backstory and what fits together.

I'm sure I forgot a few champs but I think I made my point. The ratio of white to other races is not that bad in League. When people say "blah blah race only has blah champions" they fail to account for the fact that most champions in league AREN'T HUMAN.
Where are there african america champs? I think ekko is from zaun or something and lucian i won't lie i have no ideal i have not read his story. Why wll people always get hung up on this? I am surprised that no one is complaining of the luc skin where he might as well be white as he looks it. It's a game with humans, monsters, demons, dragons, etc.
Karma is an Ionian like Yi and Yasuo, that being Asian.
I have wondered this as well, though I think they have begun to add a bit more diversity, save for Camille.
