Magic Resist / Backfire Item?

Alright. This is just an idea but what about a tank intended item that provides some magic resist but also causes an enemy caster's spell to backfire and return damage to the caster? It could have decent cooldown so as not to be too overwhelming and the damage could be based on either the wearer's MR or a percentage of the caster's AP. What do you guys think???
