Is it so hard to play a game without toxic teammates/opponents?
I just want to start out saying that I thoroughly enjoy playing League of Legends. I am prone to rage and throw fits and I'm willing to admit that. Other times I'm able to brush it off. But it's just about every time I get into a level 30 Normal game, I always tend to have team mates or opponents that will negatively point out flaws in my gameplay. That being said, and the fact that I am sort of a sensitive person. I take this to heart most of the time and I hate that it ruins the game for me. The other night I was playing norms with my friend and by the end of the game they were cheering me on to commit suicide and to swallow a bottle of Tylenol. All because I cannot play Udyr really at all. I sat back in my chair, staring at the screen and just wondering,"Wow, this is a problem." Because if I were someone with serious depression issues and they were saying that to me, I would commit suicide over someone thinking that I cannot play a game the way they expect to. It's just utterly disgusting to see that people like that exist. Yes, I know that the mute button exists, but it doesn't stop them from being the way that they are. I don't know, this has been on my mind for a while and I know it's been brought up many times, but this is just me putting in my two cents on the dilemma.
