Will there be any LP recovery?

Wait, is this happening or not? During the server downtime I noticed a lot of people flooding help and support sub-forum about this. If no, that's cool, just let some of these people know? I feel bad for the people who posted about them winning a promotional game. Just trying to not let an issue get swept under the rug.
