Stuck in Silver But do Better Than Diamond Players????

So I have been playing league for about a year now and I've pretty much quit already since I cannot rank up. I get too many afk's trolls and overall bad players so I can't carry games even going 20 and 1. Recently I've been playing with higher elo players (my friends; around diamond elo) and I still do much better than them in every way possible. I outfarm, hold and take more objectives, and apply much more pressure. I just don't understand why my team in soloqueue is so much worse than me. It's crazy really, and pretty annoying. Any ideas to help moi?

you dont do better than diamonds or you would be diamond. if a d5 scrub like me can stomp every single elo and rank up really quick. The fact that you think the better kda decides who did more proves you dont know enough about the game to even be close to diamond. yeah looking at your op gg you play for kda and dont know how to carry. you probably have shiphtur syndrome where you are too worried about kda to go in and carry a team fight or make plays. anyone can sit back with a mage and play for kills but the difference between a silver/gold and diamond is that he will take way more advantages, keep them, win the fights, know how to come back, and make plays, you clearly do not.

Play Volibear jungle. If you're as good as you say you are, you'll win every game you play.

I played against an insanely annoying (good) Volibear that literally 1v5'd our team.

Normals or ranked?

Ranked means you're playing Golds and normals have a different elo.

You play a mean adc, that's for sure. Judging from stats, you do really well. If it's your team that's holding you back, look into how to be effective in making suggestions without coming across as a dick. It's a tough thing to perfect, and you have to learn to bite your tongue more often than speak out, but you seem to be on the road to success.

There are very good players in Bronze/Silver but the majority of them (to be blunt) are total scrubs. They afk, feed like mad, chase for kills instead of getting objectives, etc. I feel your pain. It happens to me too. I also play against Plat and Diamond friends and win lane but find it hard to climb.

The only thing you can really do to win and move up is get ahead in your lane and then roam to help other lanes. Don't be afraid of the roams, if you are ahead in your lane, you are probably better than the other guy. So you can always come back to your lane and get ahead again.
