Is it worth creating a 2nd account?
So I've been hearing about smurf accounts and was wondering if it is worth creating one. I would like to know pros and cons and when is a good time to create one ( I'm lvl 17 right now ) Thanks!

Most of the "smurfs" I see are just toxic people that have had their main account banned.
The other portion are lying about being smurfs.
The only time I would consider a second account is if you have friends who you like IRL but are terrible to play league with and you don't want to tell them that. There's really no benefit otherwise, unless you want to beat on new kids.
On another note I actually have a group of low-elo friends who wont play with me on my main since it brings better players into the mix. The only time I use that account is for 5 man-ing with them (never for ranked)

I would only really recommend making a smurf account if you are Diamond or higher and want shorter queue times or something.
If you aren't even level 30 yet, don't bother. It's pointless and has no benefits for you.
Thanks for the responses! I really thought I wouldn't anyway because eventually I would forget about one of them and then it would become pointless. xD
Don't. Most people who do it are very, very high up or are banned on their main.
