I love this solo queue team, they're funny. Sadly someone from the other team dodged so 5 exhausts didn't get to happen. Might've been a good game. It's nice to see people willing to play something completely stupid just to have an interesting ranked match for once. Instead of "did my team pick Yasuo/Lucian/Syndra/Thresh/rengar/any other easy to play champ with an overloaded kit"

When you go to war, does it really matter to you if the war is interesting, or do you just want to win? If someone comes up to your family and threatens them with a gun, do you say "I hope this is interesting," or do you hope the offender is defeated? Lots of times when people play ranked, the point is to get to their skill level's elo, and then to gain skill and increase their rank. Most players want to be as close to #1 as they can be, regardless of if they just used the 1 easiest-to-play-hyper-carry champion.
If the game is interesting, awesome! Something worth to remember. But who wins a game and goes "Meh, not interesting enough."
It is nice to see people having fun with the game, but if someone argues with the rest of the team because they're in it to win, not 'have fun,' they're making a very valid point. Yes, it's just a game, but to some people any bout of competition is more than 'just a game.' And those people aren't any lesser than you just because you take it less seriously.

Seriously you just brought up getting mugged as a point of conversation? Are you serious? These two situations are not the same at all and you know NOTHING of what you speak of. You've probably never even held a gun let alone been held at gun point.

Its a video game. The point is to enjoy yourself. End of discussion. Anyone who wants to argue that is just as much a downer as you are.
Or they're paid to play the game and don't have the "Time" to enjoy the less driven paths of solo queue.
I play AP janna despite her base stats getting gutted. Find it quite fun. Same story with Leblanc. Sue ME.

Siachi1 votesSo this is relevant how? The team he got matched up with agreed to do it, they probably wanted to seriously try it, but someone on the OTHER team left before they could try it, and as far as the information I've gathered, THEY DID WANT TO TRY IT.
And yes, you did just seriously bring up being mugged and held at gunpoint as comparison to playing a video game: Yes, Ranked is more serious than regular play, but God damn, you don't die and get your family shot from losing a ranked game like in your wild analogy! You lose some LP, and have to win an extra game to make it up, and if you're just doing badly, you go down a league in rank.
