Serious question why dont people dodge

For instance nobody at all in low elo will dodge very rare. We had a losing game from the start my 4 teammates decided to troll and all pick adc champions in ranked so I chose annie jungle. These negative/50% win rate players could have just chose to lose 3 lp and waste 5 min.

Instead they waste 20 min of their team and lost up to 20 lp. I know low elo doesn't use logic but good lord every time LOL. Team would rather sit and say gg in champ select chat than to actually just take the dodge. Fuck I do all the time not when in promos or provisionals I just really dont understand rofl.
