The dreaded first 10 provisional games!

So I'm curious as to what all actually goes into account when you do your very first 10 ranked games on a new account. I hear all the time that it is a very specific system of 10w-0L = G5 9-1 = S1 8-2 = s2 7-3 = s3 6-4 = s4 5-5 = s5 4-6 = b1 3-7 = b2 2-8 = b3 1-9 = b4 0-10 = b5

Now we all know that is for a fact, false. I just finished these very first 10 ranked solo que games on this smurf account, and I went 7-3 and got Silver1. So I'm curous if anybody actually know what goes into account when getting placements, and what the system is? I know it has to do with mmr, and which mmr teams you beat and stuff. I already know all that. But I'm wondering what else factors in. Kill participation? CS? damage to champions? Or if youre a support, how many wards you place? also kill contribution? average additional gold income by using items? Anybody have a solid idea of this? If a red could comment on this, it would be great! Because I've tried to look online, and can't find anything.

Riot knows.

For the sake of ranked, it should not be revealed either.

I'm not sure either, I was also placed in s1 and i went 8-2 in my promos. I imagine the system somehow tracks other things you do on the champion you are playing and compares it to other players who play that champion to help determine your mmr.
