I was ban on the 17th of August 2016 for 14 days, to this day i am unable to earn loot, is this a permanent thing? (i am grateful it was not perma ban and i have changed my way) but i am just wondering because it has been so long and still nothing, if you have any info please let me know, thanks (please don't hate on me)

No, this is not permanent, you are able to get back the ability to earn loot. Unfortunately, though, the process of doing this is quite vague. All we really know is that it's dependent on your behavior, and once show consistent improved behavior, you will be able to earn loot again.
Also, the length of this period will be longer depending on the severity of your punishment. A 14 day ban will generally cause this to last a few months, based on what I've seen other players report here on the boards.
