Ranked Rewards for reforming players

I am just wondering if there is any way for someone to get rewards after 14 day ban. I recognized I was a bastard and probably deserved the ban and have been working on my anger problems. After logging back in I saw I had to get 35 wins in normal draft. I thought "ok maybe a bit excessive, but whatever i want gold". Now I realized I was misinformed enough to not know that a 14 day ban effectively puts you on a riot toxicity sex offender registry where I cant earn the rewards for a tier I worked hard to get into. I recognize this is my fault but this is a situation that at every turn riot kicks me while I am down. Is this truly it? Has riot taken away any incentive at all to better myself in ranked?
