I got an icon from Riot

So a month ago or so, I got a random icon i couldn't find any information about, it looks like sort of a key or idk, you can see it at my avatar rn. I just wanted to know why I got it for

P.S: I got the message of recieving just today 'saying Thank you, even tho I had this icon for a month now

That icon was rewarded to the people who got accepted into the new client during its Alpha time. I received the icon for getting accepted before the new client was opened out to everyone for open-beta.

I also happened to receive a 2013 TSM icon by mistake from riot.
