multi-tiered alert for friend requests.
Ok, so I get on the game and what do I see, a ton of friend requests from random people that when I click accept I get spammed by boosters, ads or WORST, I get some random person who thinks it's their god given right (figure of speech) to ask me to provide them with RP.
So I've thought long and hard about this solution and came to the conclusion that there are cases when you don't even know the person, but the friend request is legit, so I came up with this idea.
Friend requests should fall in 3 categories:
1, you played with that person before or been grouped up with that person, and they ask to be friends, this is a scenario where you already had interaction with the person and therefore should be alerted to their request.
2, Possible spam. In this list we have all the friend requests from players we've not so much as given a hello bob to.
3, Definite spam. In this group we have spam that Riot has already determined in spam and we should never see.
In Scenario 1, we should get a popup, if indicated in config, and the text should have a link that shows the game or chat that we were in with the person.
In Scenario 2, we should never see a popup, but we should get the little notification icon under request marker. The text should clearly state that we've never interacted with this person before. Would also be nice if we can specify in the config to flat out block these, but ehh, Riot might have a reason for that.
In Scenario 3, Never see.
Please let me know what you guys think about this, I'm just tired of being spammed.
