Why I am looking for a Better Game to Replace League of Legends.

  1. BOTS: Just finished a game with THREE player proxies. It's my last time. What kind of people let these things occur in any other business?
  2. Even though I have logged almost one thousand wins, I am still being funneled into games where people think Riven, Garen, and Jayce are great supports.
  3. The average gamer's age is actually about 35, not 15. This game caters to the latter category, resulting in a strong urge to scream for adults.
  4. Please leave suggestions for alternative games in the comments. I am so fed up with LoL I am now willing to walk away from thousands of hours of my time, and hundreds of hard-earned dollars invested.
  5. Though it's billed as a team game, nothing in the game system for solo players really encourages true teamwork. Rather, it creates an 'every man for himself' mindset via solo queue minion hogs, kill stealers, and the like.
  6. Having seen what internet 'teamwork' is, I'd prefer a game I can enjoy alone. I don't care to have my record and my virtual 'life' dependent on the decision-making prowess of twelve year olds any longer.

EXPERIENCED GAMERS PLEASE LIST YOUR SUGGESTIONS IN THE COMMENT SECTION. THANK YOU! I'D LIKE SOMETHING IN THE RPG CATEGORY WITH MAGIC USERS!Ahri

Dark Souls I and II, 3rd person over the shoulder Open RPG. Melee based but you can choose magic and ranged attacks as a primary offensive source as well. You can get them on Steam.

Path of Exile is a free to play ARPG that will remind you of Diablo II. They recently had an expansion released as well which improved on a lot of features.

Tomb Raider is a fun RPG you can also get on steam. I recently bought it for 4 bucks, but it was on an 80% sale so I doubt you can get it for that now. It's pretty much on rails but you can choose which weapons to level up and how you build Lara Croft to some extent. Really good storytelling if you're into that.

If you're willing to buy a 3DS you could try out Fire Emblem: Awakening. It's an aerial-view turn based RTS with RPG style levelling and character management. You can choose who your characters have relationships with, kill people off, etc. Really amazing game. There are a lot of other really fun games on 3ds if you choose this route. Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds is another great RPG.

Used to be I'd throw a Blizzard game in here but they've gone to shit recently and don't look to be getting any better.

PS: Consider that rather than trying to replace League of Legends, you should be looking for games or activities that you can support it with. Tunneling too hard on a single activity creates resentment for the little nuances that you begin to see. If you find yourself getting bored or angry and you have nothing else to turn to it makes you an unhappy person. You should try to engage yourself in several activities so that you always have something new to do when you get upset or bored.

I think you need something you can play casually or hardcore, but you don't have to deal with others to get the most out of it. Any MMO or heavily team-based PvP game will be full of kids who have no respect and don't care if they ruin the experience for others (or adults who are indistinguishable from them). You don't have to quit games like LoL, you just need an alternative when it becomes frustrating;

Skyrim, Dragon Age, The Witcher Diablo, Civilization, The Walking Dead Hearthstone, The Sims

Doesn't matter what type of game you go with, just log off play something else when any particular game is getting on your nerves.
