Question about ranking system
If I decide not to finish my promos this season, but next season, will it still put me on a rank based on my season 4 ranking or no?

Your MMR won't drop for inactivity, so you'll simply pick up where you left off last season (high silver) minus the soft resets. You'll have two soft resets worth of lost MMR though, so may end up high Bronze or very low Silver when you start next season. You can prevent that by finishing your placement matches and recovering the MMR you lost from this season's soft reset.
