Theory on Rek'sai

well, her children are more intelligent then her if that's the case, seeing as well, they talk and scheme.

That'd be what I'd expect, at least: A good portion of Void Creatures are very insect-like in nature, and Rek'Sai has been described as 'very territorial' (Almost as if she's protecting something, perhaps a brood of some sorts... HMMMMMM).

Or maybe she's just guarding some void portal or something. Maybe something to do with Icathia?

EDIT: Actually, given what little I know of Icathia, as long as I'm right in that Icathia is somewhere in the desert, Rek'Sai almost assuredly has something to do with Icathia.

Well the way I see it is that the void is like a kingdom. E.g Kog'maw 'The Mouth of the Void' is sort of like a herald. So the void has a herald (Kog), an assassin (Kha), an overseer (Vel), a champion (Cho). So they need a monarch.. REK'SAI is the queen as she is referred to as queen by rito. So maybe its like that???
