Corporate Mundo Pants Debate

So for Halloween this Friday I am dressing up as corporate Mundo for a party. I am feeling good so far, but I ran into a problem. I've been using jeans as the pants because that's what the splash looks like to me, but my friend brought up a good point, shouldn't they be slacks or something less casual than jeans? I'd like to hear some opinions. Thanks in advance!
