so i got stinger akali in a mystery skin, and the 2 matches i played were varus and lux. both poked extremely hard, had to back so many times....she fealt extremely weak early game. tbh i think she's at a horrible spot atm... any thoughts?
She's really weak right now. The thing is, Riot nerfed her very hard when she was already balanced merely because the low level community didnt understand how to play against her.
Now the only people playing her are Akali mains. I still play her, but tbh these days I'm getting pretty fed up with how weak she is. It's just not that fun to have to suffer through 6 levels of pure hell trying to lane and then hoping that your opponents make mistakes that you can capitalize on, otherwise you stay useless for the entire game.
And yeah, Akali has ALWAYS required her opponents to make mistakes in order to get fed. Contrary to popular belief.
There is a ton of things you can do to counter her, and not very many things she can do to kill you if you are playing smart. Community just couldn't stand the fact that it was so easy for her to 1v1 you if you were out of position.
i believe her win rate in ranked is 47%, and not chosen too often either. sucks....
i think shes okay (not in a good or bad spot).
You just got some pretty bad matchups. Both Varus and Lux give little to no shit about your Twilight Shroud.
In those situations you either get ganks, or just play super safe (farm under tower) until you get your core. Then you can just burst down Varus/Lux.
i feel like akali used be wayyyyy superior then every other mid laner, now she needs to be played so differently. first time using her since that nerf a while back. her damage is bad early and she's pretty damn weak at all levels. her burst late game is the only good thing she has.
