A question about mastery level 6

Hi,
I have a question about mastery level 6. I got 1 token, but it says you need 2 and 1 champion permament shard. Does that mean i got to get a the champion shard or do i just need to own the champion?

same I cant seem to use a champion shard for my level7 is it bugged
You can use either a champion shard or a champion permament shard.
Once you get your 2nd token, you can use said shard to unlock it.
