Do not buy the Thresh Statue from the Riot store.

It is a great figure. Looks amazing. However, the packaging for it is horrible. It is not secure in the box at all. It poked several holes in the box from not being secure and came with a broken arm. I have contacted the store in hopes that they will fix the problem with their packaging, but until then I warn everyone not to buy the figure. I love riot and I hope this problem will be fixed shortly. http://imgur.com/ov4UYyH I was able to fix the figure with some super glue and it was on a joint so it does not look noticeable but if you are thinking about buying the figure I would hold off.

I'm sorry to hear that it arrived broken too. We've made changes to the way Thresh is packed for shipping and that will hopefully address situations like this where the statue is damaged while on its way to players. Our player support team will be able to assist you in getting a new one. We'll also keep a close eye on this issue to ensure that the additional packaging is keeping Thresh protected during transit. Had the same issue. Quite disappointing and frustrating, especially because I didn't buy it for myself. Mine came with his left forearm broken off and half his right hand sheared off. Cleanly. Very odd, very frustrating. Riot support has agreed to get me back my money when I ship it back which is something, but now I'm out a gift unless the replacement I ordered arrives on time AND isn't broken. Grr. Arrgh.

I received mine perfectly fine, in fact, it came in mint condition with not a tiny scratch in sight. Although, I could have been one of the lucky few. I would not really blame Riot though, as it really is a Local Postal thing.

I'm having the same problem. The fingers on the hand holding the hook broke, and arm holding the lantern broke off, too. I think these statues are breaking because the entire front side of the figure is not protected in the original packaging. The plastic only covers the back and sides. Packaging of this product was not well planned.

thank you sir, though the 70$ price tag was keeping me from buying it anyway, I now know to avoid it out right till better packaging is in order and to stick to non-breakables like cloths or plushies summoner 31 :3

Just to give the other side of this, I also received a broken thresh statue with a few fingers missing.

The Riot team have been nothing but supportive of returning the product for a full refund, were clear that they are well aware of the issue with regards to packaging and that it has now been changed to try and resolve it.

Having a statue here, I have no doubt about the high quality of the statues, you just need to pick up the statue to feel the quality of workmanship and materials in the piece itself.

The fact is, shit happens. A statue like this is ultimately made of plastic and certain areas where it joins or narrows are weaker, and that's a risk with anything of an unusual shape during transport. I have no doubts about the quality of the piece and will be ordering another one once my free shipping label is sorted. Because it IS a good piece. This is their first physical store and the first piece theyve shipped, and the problem has been addressed. So immediately coming on here and bitching, which I could have chosen to do three weeks ago, is childish, pathetic and uncalled for.

Don't let a small percentage with a transport issue put you off what is otherwise a half go quality piece I consider well worth the price i paid.
