Ekko didn't come out a few weeks ago. Try months! You had more than enough time to get the IP required to get him plus another champion by now if you saved your IP since his release! As someone who likes to gift champion of Thad the best you can come up with just play more games or buy RP.

There have been two party up weekends since ekko came out where you could have had up to four times normal ip... And besides 6300 ip only takes me 1 to 2 weeks to get. Go play some games.
