Can you gift new champion bundles?

I didn't have enough leftover rp to only spend $10 to buy the bundle, but my friend did. So I gave her $10 RP to gift me the bundle, and I'm reading that you can't do it. The gifting is down right now, so I can't confirm, but I need to know to see if I have to charge another $5 or not.

Yeah unfortunately they still haven't made it so you can gift bundles, hopefully sometime in the future though
