Add console version to keep up with comptetition

I know most may not agree with my idea, League is perfect like it is, but honestly, being a major console gamer myself and having League as more of a side hobby, when I saw that Hi-Rez had brought Smite to Xbox one, I started wondering why I haven't heard anything about League doing the same, it would be such an amazing change, and bring a wonderful game out to consoles that most won't play right now, simply because it's only on the PC.. I'm not saying this is a must happen thing, but maybe something worth at least looking into, I know it can't be simple to reformat and stuff for a whole new operating system, but in the end, it may be worth it. Just something to think about I guess, no idea if anyone else is even thinking about it or not..

it wouldn't be as hard as one might think, since windows users can play both minecraft, and SMITE, along with a few other pc only games on their consoles, and SMITE even plays on ps4 if I'm not mistaken

But movement would be next to impossible in regards to the precision required to dodge things, smite uses wasd to move, but lol uses a mouse. It COULD work on the Wii u, since that has a touchpad integrated, but it's still a long shot to the effectiveness

Just go ahead and try to play even a 1 on 1 bot game with a controller mapping. LoL's control setup is impossible to use with a conventional controller. How would you cast Viktor's E? How would youuse any ground-targeted move, for that matter?

The reason Smite and Minecraft are... playable with controllers is because of the WASD movement scheme and simplistic controls compared to complex games like LoL, Starcraft, etc.

I feel I should note that I am well aware of the issues there would be in actually creating this, as I have been discussing it with friends IRL, it just seems like an interesting idea to be looked into which is really the only reason I even posted this, I don't expect it to actually happen because as you have pointed out, it's not the same and a lot would need to be done, but it isn't impossible, it's just really awkward to accomplish it. So, like I said, more an idea than an actual hope due to the actual difficulty behind getting it accomplished, you just never know that what someone might be able to accomplish with a little bit of creativity.
