Mass Lag DEFEAT

So everyone on my team disconnected from our ranked game for about 5-8 mins I think only about 4 people in the whole game managed to play with minor lag, when the lag stopped everyone was under leveled and all that bull. Bascially why was this loss not loss prevented?! We was winning too :( Can I haz RP back plz rito it's impossible to leave bronze nowadays D:
