This is one of the shortest pre-seasons to date -to my recollection-, and it's quite baffling considering the Assassins' rework plus Jungle Changes plus Item Changes about to hit the SR.
So I am wondering. Why so little time, when the new season usually begins around January. Why rush it so much, this time. Is there a particular reason?

This is an easy question to answer ... they noticed that they lose too many players during pre-season so they are cutting it as short as possible ... so short that they still call it 2017 season, even though it starts in 2016 ... ;)
Well, right now things are hitting pbe full scale even before pre-season has started.
