Brand or Cass?
Hey guys I have been saving up for a while and have decided between two champions
and
I like them both because they have damage over time effects and both have some high burst.

I really enjoy Cass. Her numbers are insane. With her passive, it's pretty easy to hit 1000 AP by the end of the game, and her abilities have fairly decent scaling, too. The heal on twin fang and its boost on poison is just icing on the snake... er, cake. Really, she plays similarly to an ADC, which is a role I'm more familiar with than mages. Her skillcap is a lot higher, but it's not difficult to do tons of damage with her by rolling on your keyboard, if you're positioned properly.
Brand is also quite enjoyable. The best thing about him is that his kit encourages combo-ing his spells, but you can use them in a variety of sequences for different effects. His passive is also one of my favorites in the game. It does quite a surprising amount of damage. I just think Cass is a little overtuned at the moment, and extremely potent in the right hands. I'd definitely choose her.
is higher skillcap with potentially much higher burst, but
has a lower skillcap and is a bit more reliable.... take your pick
Brand is a strong lane bully, and good against tanky enemies, but he needs alot of peeling to keep him safe whereas Cassi is an equal lane bully that has a bit more self peel with her slow and ultimate to keep herself alive, and i feel she just can fit into more compositions than brand does right now.
From a strategic point of view i would go with Cassi for being safer
Cass is tanky and has an epic late game. Excells in 1v1, but her ult gives her a good teamfight.
Brand is squishy but has insane teamfight damage. His ult is underwhelming against one person, but amazing against 2-4. 5 the damage gets too spread...
I would say
because I find his kit super fun and
is just so damn difficult to play well
