Today a friend purposely ruined my one goal in League of Legends

I've been playing league of legends since Season 3, and ever since my first experience, I've had one goal. I've never been a fan of the champion Annie. My goal was to one day own every champion in the game other than Annie . I don't like the style of play that she promotes in the game and made it a rule to never own or play her.

I've gotten all of my friends to play league and its been the one thing to stay with me throughout moving, starting college, and meeting new people. Throughout it all, I've only ever had one rule. Never buy me Annie or a mystery champion. Even now, i refuse to re-roll champion shards in the Hex-tech crafting so i don't run the risk of getting the champion.

Today someone i know heard that i never wanted to own Annie and decided that it would be funny to send me the champion. I have played for hundreds of hours, and honestly its the most the enjoyable thing in my life. I use it to keep in touch with people who now live half a country away. The connections that I've made in league and its community are some of the strongest I've ever had.

I always said that if i got Annie that i would quit league of legends. But now that I've hit this point, i'm at a loss. The game is something i love and something i can't imagine not playing, but i pride myself on keeping to my promises and find it hard to go back on myself, even in something as stupid as this.

I'm just sitting here, staring at a button that proclaims the exact opposite of how i feel. I refuse to press it, but i don't want to bear with the repercussions of letting it sit there forever.

Riot, Community, Anyone, I don't know what to do.

My recommendation?

Get over your crazy notion that somehow having annie in your inventory will ruin the game for you and continue to enjoy the game you love.

Plus side: already owning her makes it easier for you to reroll in hextech without worry! You can now be mystery gifted!

Look at all the stress that is lifted when you realize having her in or out of your inventory in no way affects your in-game enjoyment! (unless you roll her in aram and have no rerolls or trades)

Hey man don't be alarmed but I think you might have autism, and I don't say that to be mean, my mom works with autistic kids. See someone about looking into it.

Honestly, get over Annie.

OR

Play every champions other than Annie. Now she is somewhat left out in a special way to prove your hatred towards her?
