To all the people who rage in the boards about certain champions... (Fizz, Teemo, etc...)
Let me ask you something...
Have I ever told you the definition of insanity?
Insanity, which is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Every... Single... Time...
You enter a match in the Rift, see your mortal foe and you think... "I'm gonna have a bad time." And you'd be right... You ARE gonna have a bad time. But... That's not what's usualy wrong with this picture... (Shakes finger, looking at the reader.)
What usualy is wrong is actualy either replying to the enemy, who has three goals with said champion... To have fun... To climb in ranks... Or to piss people off... If it's the latter, you're making things worse by replying to how much you hate him.
You're probably staring at me like I'm some fucking lunatic, I bet the first words our of your mouth are "Who the fuck this guy thinks he is!? Telling us not to do this or that!? I bet he's some fucking bronze scrub that should kill himself!".
For starters, I don't care what you do, this topic is meant to make you self aware of your issues, not to insult you. You could just close this tab... Move on to the next game, and ending up meeting your mortal foe again that leads to your next ranked loss.
For those who haven't already, thank you for your time. I apreciate it.
For seconds, I'm here to tell you something... This hint is very important, and you will have to cherish it with your HEART. The tip is...
"All champions have a weakness."
Too simple? Think I'm trolling? Allow me to show you this little clip:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vk20vWcaa8Y
Teemo counters Tristana 99% of the time if they were in a one versus one. So me playing blind pick as Tristana versus a Teemo, the first thing I thought was "I need my jungler to camp top."
My jungler never came. Not for lack of trying, but because Teemo was smart enough to shroom the entrances. So If I wanted to beat this guy that's playing my OWN MAIN, I had to think like my main.
I abused his mistake of wasting blind, knowing it's on a 8 second cdr, I did what's in the video and killed him.
THIS! THIS VIDEO IS THE 1% OF TRISTANA BEATING A TEEMO IN A FAIR 1V1!!! And I'm proud of it, you know why!? Because I learned how he works, what his weaknesses are and managed to counter him no problem! And if given the chance... I would do it again!
And you know what I didn't do? I didn't type to insult him, didn't type about how he keeps zoning me or that a shroom killed me. Heck! I can't remember the last time I died to a mushroom because by the time he has any, I already bought enough MR to make them look like health pots in comparation.
I played like a true LoL player! Taking in the issues head on and never looking bad, or retreating to analyze the situation. I didn't feed, didn't flame, didn't swear. THIS... Is what being a true lol player is all about, the competition, the fair play. Problem is that these days, even pros lack fair play, I've read the other day of a pro player in LCS being fined for flipping off infront of the cameras.
If this... Is what being "professional" is all about... Then I guess there's not much hope for this game, is there?
But like I said, all champions have a weakness. Best way to know what are they is to play said champions and study them. You think people who hate Fizz never played him once?
A famous youtuber named Trinimmortal played Fizz enough to learn how his kit works. He still hates Fizz, but at least he knows how to counter him because it's one of his top 3 champions he plays. So he WILL hate you for playing Fizz, but if you try it against him, he will crush you!
The same applies to any other champions. Learn them, study them before you judge them. Once you find his weaknesses, you can start formulating a plan to kill them.
Remember, your oponent isn't an obstacle, it's a challenge. And you agreed to take on said challenge the moment you clicked "play". Will you own up to your responsibility?
Now I'm gonna end off by asking you a very important question...
Have I told you the definition of insanity?
