How do people get so mad in this game?

This isn't a "This game is for fun" thread, or how I play for fun. I'm actually really concerned on why I don't get frustrated as much in this game. I play with a lot of my friends, and they're fun to play with. But when things start going bad, they get quiet and upset, i never get that feeling. But the awkward tension is what makes me upset.

I don't like losing, and sure i think "wtf are they doing" sometimes when i play a game, but i legitimately never get mad or start yelling, or even just get ticked when losing or when others do bad. I don't get what i'm not getting about the game. When in a 4 v 5 with no surrender and it's 20/1 I still don't get upset. I won't hold the surrender vote, or say "we can still win", i understand what is a lost game and what isn't, or when someone isn't up to par with the rest of the team. But it doesn't upset me. The only thing that upsets me is when people mock/shit talk me, or when my friends lose their fun. Winning is fun, always play to win, but getting worked up over a game seems so foreign to me.

EDIT: Also, I don't mean just Ragers, i mean just getting overall upset.

I think it's just human nature to want to win in a competitive environment; combined with being anonymous online, people will act very toxic when they wouldn't do that in person. People that are attracted to competitive nature (IE: games and sports) are the same people that don't like to lose, that would explain why maybe your friends get awkward or quiet.

Because I feel powerless knowing I can't stop the intentional feeder on my team to not stop feeding.

The premade team trolling the only solo on their team when mute doesn't help and your stuck in that game for 60 mins because they don't want to surrender and only want to make the game miserable for you.

Basically, this game makes you feel powerless and it sucks.

This is the only game where I don't have control over every other person's actions and no amount of "fun" can fix that.

Or you could be a sociopath.

Sure it's understandable if one gets mad or frustrated because of the game. But wishing death, cancer, or any bad thing to another individual who didn't do more than not fulfilling one's expectations is plain stupid. Players should be able to realise that all words can influence their teammates (good or bad). It is really simple to keep your frustration out of the game chat but only few people manage to always do this.

I get really ticked off whenever I am failing in lane, or my team manages to throw an easy game. My enjoyment of league is related to not failing, and not having a team that makes stupid mistakes. I've got no problems with a close loss, but stomps always tick me off.

Because your friends are competitive and you aren't. That's the difference.. Think of this game in ranks like highschool, college and professional. If you are a natural competitive person you can't help but get mad when someone is screwing up a game by feeding while you are doing almost everything right.
