I consider myself to be a pretty fair guy and rather funny in chat as well. I used to have an HO ribbon but I had alot of feeders that couldnt take constructive criticism and reported me and my banner went bye-bye. I've noticed that now that im level thirty i get MUCH less honors, even though i honor atleast one person almost every game. How do i be honorable again? I don't wish to shame my family and commit hari kari oO
Riot just misnamed this 'honor' system... imo. I really like how Riot is always trying to make LoL better but honor has nothing to do with voting. Rihana, Justin bieber, etc would have so much honor (oh yeah). Sad you have to be contiential, play the way others want you to play to get honor.
It's not about your behaviour but more about how much the other player are willing to honor you. I think this system share a big flaw with the reporting one : its free to 'honor' or 'report', you don't imply urself at any point. So people just do w/e they like.
I rarely ever honour anyone because i don't really see people doing anything to deserve it, getting a high score or carrying doesn't count towards it imo and most of the time the people i see carrying are fairly up themselves :P
There is nothing you can do its all down to the other peoples definition of whats honourable
whether i carry or throw i say good game and if i lose a fight or an enemy makes a play i tell them well played in all chat. I dont rage when i die even if i get raged at. I don't get what isn't honorable about that :(
report =/= lost ribbon, they are 2 entirely diffferent systems. The oly moment you do lose ribbon because of reports is when a Punish judgement is called on you.
