Leaver Busted Again After Winning

Mac user here, just got done winning a game (contributed to win, went 4/5/10 on ziggs) after disconnecting at load screen. Loaded all the way up to 100% and dc'd from the server. Came back seven minutes into the game, and started crushing bot lane (I switched to support role). After enemy team surrenders, get to post game lobby and receive a 5-game low priority. This is the third time in three weeks I've had this exact same scenario happen (win and all). Is Leaver Buster intended to work this way? I feel like I'm getting screwed by poor server connectivity. I'm just frustrated, but I don't want to ruin others games so I'll just be taking a break for a while.

PS: I posted about this the first two times it happened in Help and Support, so I've already been there.

Yeah, the client doesn't always load correctly. One of the guys had a toaster and I see him slowly clocking up to 100% connected. Except apparently the game had already started and I was actually DC'ed that whole time.

I live on the West Coast with a 30-40 ms ping and a 20/5 mbit DSL connection (Windows 7 w / Quad core 2.8 ghtz GT 640, a little slow but not too bad). Sometimes the client just blows up and my internet is still working fine. Normally I can jump right back in but sometimes I can't even tell it's broken and CTRL+ALT+DEL on the client doesn't usually let me open taskman while the loading screen is doing its thing.

maybe you should fix your internet issues so this is not a problem. Riot said that 5 minutes was to long and is detected by the leave buster already. It does not matter if you come back after being gone. The point is that you left your team mates 4v5. The good news it is only low que and not a ban cause you came back.

A 7 min afk is usually game-ruining. Have some empathy, and fix your internet.
