Leaver Busted Again After Winning

Mac user here, just got done winning a game (contributed to win, went 4/5/10 on ziggs) after disconnecting at load screen. Loaded all the way up to 100% and dc'd from the server. Came back seven minutes into the game, and started crushing bot lane (I switched to support role). After enemy team surrenders, get to post game lobby and receive a 5-game low priority. This is the third time in three weeks I've had this exact same scenario happen (win and all). Is Leaver Buster intended to work this way? I feel like I'm getting screwed by poor server connectivity. I'm just frustrated, but I don't want to ruin others games so I'll just be taking a break for a while.

PS: I posted about this the first two times it happened in Help and Support, so I've already been there.

Yeah, the client doesn't always load correctly. One of the guys had a toaster and I see him slowly clocking up to 100% connected. Except apparently the game had already started and I was actually DC'ed that whole time.

I live on the West Coast with a 30-40 ms ping and a 20/5 mbit DSL connection (Windows 7 w / Quad core 2.8 ghtz GT 640, a little slow but not too bad). Sometimes the client just blows up and my internet is still working fine. Normally I can jump right back in but sometimes I can't even tell it's broken and CTRL+ALT+DEL on the client doesn't usually let me open taskman while the loading screen is doing its thing.

maybe you should fix your internet issues so this is not a problem. Riot said that 5 minutes was to long and is detected by the leave buster already. It does not matter if you come back after being gone. The point is that you left your team mates 4v5. The good news it is only low que and not a ban cause you came back.

no, this is a problem for all mac users. The game will just randomly crash sometimes on a mac

lol and it never randomly crashes on PC. You are very self entitled and smug(typical mac user). MAC users are the only people that crash. Never happens on PC....

Plus i am sure you tried to fix the problem to. How long have you been working with Tech support for your MAC only problem?

I have never had a problem with this before patch 4.20 and a lot of other Mac users have said this as well. I have never heard of a PC random crash happening more frequently now.

I'm not running a mac, and mine has been crashing right before start of game as well. So I don't think it's a mac issue. My thoughts are, this new client sucks since the update, and it's screwing a lot of people. I mean seriously, I just finished playing a game where I came back and contributed myself, but still got the leaverbuster warning.

TL:DR Riot, FIX YOUR SHIT.

Fix internet? This has happened to me and my ISP is perfectly fine. I can connect to anything else including the game, but when I attempt to "reconnect" it minimizes the window and will not load the game that is progress. I've done nothing wrong but get dropped by riot servers and were expected to type in a box that we admit we did something we haven't.

Good news is that it will probably happen to you as well Kchaosrei and you can come swallow your own BS advice and whine to riot about leaver buster with the rest of the people getting screwed by it.
