Why Riot doesn't do much about toxic people, in my opinion.

If 1% of the community or something like that is toxic then why should they worry about it? From what I've seen and I'm sure Riot has seen is that most of the time toxic people are shut down by the other players on the team, and sometimes the opposite team as well.

Its kind of like the community takes care of itself. Now afk and trolls, you can't do much about. But as far as people just being total assholes for no reason, Riot shouldn't have to take care of that if the percentage of the community that's toxic is that small.

there is a mistake, it's not 1% but 10% of trolls in game.

in forum the pourcentage went up to 99%. forum is full of trolls.

They need to give us the ability to police ourselves. We could get rid of the trolls if given the right tools to do so. Riot is just another greedy company though because the right solution would lose that part of the player base who refuses to straighten up and Riot don't want that.

This obviously woulnt be a great idea. If common players would be able to police us. i would assume that means we could ban people. it would be abused to no end. People having bad game getting perma-banned. or pissing off a duo could end up with you getting your account perma! it wouldnt be right, nor fair!

Riot gives us a button that we can use to ban people from our ELO group that we do not want to play with for whatever reason. They are banned from grouping with us for a month or a decided upon time frame. If this person is truly a toxic person they will get numerous bans from different individuals. Eventually, if this person doesn't stop being an asshat they will not have anyone to play with anymore and can either play bots or stop playing league altogether which is what most toxic assholes will do because they can't get their kicks anymore on people who want to play the game right.

It's not hard. Riot or any developer for that matter will not do it because they will lose player base.

How is this a bad idea? Only a troll or some other pile of poop would not like this because there would be a system in place that could blacklist their sorry asses.

The way that you had originally worded it made it seem like you wanted us to just ban each other from the game altogether, or something along those lines. Although, the idea that you have seems good enough. And the player base is big enough that Riot won't lose many, if any players.

I think Riot should take a look at this.

Yeah thanks but unfortunately in the world we live in everyone is supposed to be eligible to participate no matter if they have any kind of skills or not or are assholes.
