was hoping for more skins than 2 if you can even count the Vi skin as a harrowing skin. Last year was impressive with like 8 when you counted the shadow isle skins.
The main problem? This theme of skins only happens once a year and many champions would look good with this theme of a skin.
Yet, this year the ball was dropped.
yeah. They must think nobody will notice that they only did one harrowing skin because they're bringing back the old ones. shame
just an fyi to those of you who thinks last years halloween is the norm... it is not
previous years it was at most 3 champs getting skins, in fact 3 skins per event is the typical amount of skin content.
if you take a moment and look at the skins from the shadow isles that happened to flow into the harrowing there is a clear distinction as to what skins are to which events. in general the harrowing skins have been rather playful and fun spirited.
Yeah it just feels more bland every year.
2010 - we got 6 skins for very different champions and the horrowin map, nothing that big since all those skins cost 975 RP, but still very good.
2011 - we got 2 skins for 520 skins and 2 950 and the map again, this was way better for players with low RP who wanted to buy a good Halloween skin, and all skins had great quality for what they worth, best event in my opinion.
2012 - we got 2 skins for 975 and 1 for 1820 and the map was changed for the opening of the new TT, in my opinion those 2 skins aren't that good for 975 rp, and the Brand skin while good quality, was kinda expensive, definitely a step back from last year, i'm not gonna mention the Shadow Isles skins since they don't count.
2013 - We got ALL previous skins from last year, only 1 975 skin and only 1 1350 skin... for a champion whose only other skin is 1350 as well, no new event, no new map either.
just as an extra feedback comment, this is my favorite theme and the theme I am most likely to spend RP on.
Infact, I already bought a $25 RP card in anticipation for this event.
I was hoping to use it to buy alot of new harrowing skins.
I am probably not the only person who feels this way.

I'm very happy with harrowing 2013 as I can get Kitty Kat Katarina now.
Actually, the 2013 Harrowing hasn't actually "Happened" yet. A new login screen, a new skin (Haunted Zyra), and 5 new summoner icons that fit the Harrowing mood have been added to the beta recently, and there will certainly be more to come. It's also possible that the new Officer Vi skin may also be for the harrowing (uncomfirmed, not likely) so I would advice against jumping to conclusions about how disappointing an event was before said event has even started. While the previous Harrowing skins will be making a reappearance, that hardly constitutes the act of neglecting new content, and Riot knows this quite well. I'm not afraid to predict that, within the next week, we'll all be seeing a lot more 2013 Harrowing content previewed and revealed. They have until Halloween.
