Casual Tournament--One spot left!

Not sure if this goes here or somewhere else. My apologies if I'm posting incorrectly.

So a few months back, the Moba Chat that I am in was having some serious debate about a couple champs in League… which ones would win in normal 5s game with a good team. They couldn't just 1v1, because part of the argument was past laning phase, and they couldn't just do randoms because you ‘never know what baddies you’ll get’… So I encouraged them to make a custom and we could get people from the moba chat to fill it out. They said no, 10 people were too hard to nail down, etc. Well, I kept pressuring and eventually just organized it myself. It went over like gangbusters! So we did another. That one went even better and even took less time to plan.

Fast forward to this month… the last 5v5 game I announced took less than an hour to fill. (It’s on Dec 13 if you want to spectate!)

So, I decided to put together a tournament kinda thing. I had been bouncing around this idea that we base it on the League lore and use some of the major factions the characters are based around. A lot of people liked that idea, so now it’s happening. The tournament will be capped at 40 people, with eight lore factions represented: Demacia, Freljord, Ionia, Noxus, Piltover, Shadow Isles, Shurima, and Zaun. People choose a faction to belong to, and then they get to choose one of the champions from that faction to play. They have to play that same champion the entire tournament, in the very same role.

The tournament will take place on January 10, 2015. It's a Saturday. You'll need to have the entire evening free in case the team you choose makes it all the way to the end (yay winning!). There will be prizes:

• WINNING TEAM of the tournament will earn one mystery skin for each player on that team.

• MOST WARDS PLACED by one champion in a single match will earn one champion skin with the value of up to 975 RP (please note that wards placed outside of the use of competitive advantage will be noted and stricken from tally) • LARGEST KILLING SPREE by one champion in a single match will earn one champion skin with the value of up to 975 RP • MOST MINIONS KILLED by one champion in a single match will earn one champion skin with the value of up to 975 RP

• QUICKEST FIRST BLOOD in the tournament as recorded by league’s statistics will earn one champion skin with the value of up to 1350 RP

• BEST KDA of one champion in a single match (as determined by kills plus assists, divided by deaths) will earn one champion skin with the value of up to 1820 RP

Prizes for the tournament will be delivered within 10 days following the conclusion of the tournament's events.
